AIM-VPN/SSL-3 Cisco DES/3DES/AES/SSL VPN Encryption/Compression (Ver 3)
The Cisco DES/3DES/AES/SSL VPN Encryption/Compression is part of the Cisco family which provides the broadest line of solutions for transporting data, voice and video while ensuring that networks both public and private operate with maximum performance, security, and flexibility. The AIM-VPN/SSL-3 provides up to 40 percent better performance for IPsec VPN over the built-in IPsec encryption, and up to twice the performance for SSL Web VPN encryption. It supports SSL encryption in hardware, VPN IPsec encryption in hardware using either Data Encryption Standard (DES) or Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), and the IP Payload Compression Protocol (IPPCP) in hardware.
