The Cisco 3925 Integrated Services Router (ISR) provides office branches with highly secure data, voice, video, and application services. Engineered with the Modular Services Engine (SPE) 100, the 3925 ISR is easily upgraded for higher performance as future WANs are developed and features three integrated 10/100/1000 GB Ethernet ports, two of which are capable of RJ-45 or SFP connectivity to further improve the transmission of data. Other hardware features include two service module slots, four enhanced high-speed WAN Interface Card (EHWIC) slots, four onboard digital signal Processor (DSP) slots, and one internal services module slot. The 3925 ISR utilizes a host of software features to provide optimal network security including embedded hardware-accelerated VPN encryption, authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) identity management, and integrated threat control using Cisco IOS Firewall, Cisco IOS Zone-Based Firewall, Cisco IOS IPS, and Cisco IOS Content Filtering.
