Customers of this vintage should measure their hub height before installing to determine the correct pump for their vehicle; The #8803 has a hub height of 2.58″, while the #8804 has a hub height of 3.43″; Installation is the same as for original equipment water pumps. Consult service manual for specific procedures; 2001 model year Mustang GTs and Cobras were equipped with either the long (#8803) or short (#8804) style water pump
