With flexibility in the number of connections, speed maximums, and price, you don’t have to under- or overprovision for any network location. Combining innovative hardware and software design, this family of routers integrates powerful resiliency and intelligent services into a single router platform. The Cisco ASR 1004 router in a 4-rack unit (RU) form factor supports up to 8 shared port adapters (SPAs) and comes with one route processor and one embedded services processor slot.
