The Edelbrock aluminum water pump is a heavy duty water pump for both street and racing applications; The pump is externally the same as original equipment pumps to provide compatibility with all accessories and pulleys; It offers weight savings along with increased durability and cooling potential; – #8831 is a standard rotation water pump for 1968-72 AMC 290, 304, 343, 360, 390 and 401 V8; engines and 1971-72 Jeep 304 and 360 V8 engines with 4.438″ hub height; Early AMC engines (1967-68) used a 5.68″ hub height; We do not have an application for this and as such customers will need to convert to later brackets if they wish to use this pump; – #8832 is a standard rotation water pump for 1973 and later AMC 304, 360, and 401 V8 engines; as well as 1973 and later Jeep 304, 360, and 401 V8 engines with 4.813″ hub height.; Installation is the same as for original equipment water pumps. Consult service manual for specific procedures, if necessary.
