Designed to extend the capabilities of the Cisco Unified Computing System using the advanced capabilities of the Intel Xeon 5500 and 5600 series Processors, the Cisco UCS B200 M2 Blade Server can offer the increased energy efficiency, business agility, and reduced total cost of ownership (TCO) necessary for demanding virtualized and non-virtualized data-center applications. The B200 M2 Blade Server is a half-width blade with 12 DIMM slots for support of up to 192 GB of memory; it supports one mezzanine adapter and two optional front-accessible, hot-swappable SAS hard drives. The B200 M2 can take advantage of up to two Intel Xeon Series multicore Processors and offers out-of-band access by remote KVM (keyboard, video, mouse), Secure Shell (SSH) Protocol, virtual media (vMedia), and Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI).
