The Cisco OC-3/STM-1 POS Port Adapter is part of the Cisco family which provides the broadest line of solutions for transporting data, voice and video while ensuring that networks both public and private operate with maximum performance, security, and flexibility. This device is used as a direct connection between an outside network and a switch platform or router. The PA-POS-1OC3 enables you to receive all the functionality of a fully independent OC-3c/STM1 port. Special features include full duplex capability and PoS (Packet over SONET).
