The Cisco 6500 48 10/100/1000 RJ45 Interface Module is more capable than other pluggable switches as it has 48 separate 10/100/1000 network ports that each support up to 15.4 W Power over Ethernet (PoE). This device enables your administrators to add more computers and nodes without completely upgrading your switch chassis or changing your network’s operating standards. The WS-X6148A-GE-45AF is compliant with numerous IEEE 802 standards and also supports Jumbo Frames, which is uncommon as there have been many compatibility issues between the two standards in the past. This feature gives companies the go ahead to reliably zero in on optimal network speeds without making major upgrades to their IT infrastructure or performing complicated workarounds.
