The Cisco Catalyst 6500 48-ports 10/100/1000 (RJ45) POE 802.3af is a two-piece set that includes the RJ-45CEF256 interface module along with an 802.3af PoE daughtercard and can serve as the backbone of your business network. The Power over Ethernet separation allows for higher efficiency within that function, giving the rest of the Cisco Catalyst 6500 line card the capability to perform the remainder of its network duties that much quicker. It has 48 ports that are fully managed so you receive quality of service features as well as VLAN support and audio negotiation, along with Power over Ethernet functionality.
