The Cisco Catalyst 6500 24-Port High Performance GE Interface Module allows you to add plenty of high speed connectivity in a single expansion slot. The combination of 24 Gigabit SFP ports and support for Jumbo Frames allows this switch to ensure that you will have enough ports to connect your network nodes and can route large amounts of data with relative ease. The WS-X6724-SFP features Multiple and Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol support, two Per-VLAN Spanning Tree support modes and has full duplex capability that prevents upload data from slowing download data. This switch is better suited to manage complicated network architectures than most other switches are.
